All ages are determined as of December 31st before the upcoming festival
(ie. age as of 2025)
Duos and Trios are entered by the age of the older competitor.
Group class age is determined by adding all ages together and dividing by the number in the group (no rounding up).
Small Group: 4 to 7 dancers
Large Group: 8 to 14 dancers
Extra-Large Groups 15 & more
PLEASE NOTE: If it is determined that groups are dancing with more or less dancers than they are registered for, there will be a 3 point penalty deduction from the group's score, UNLESS, ahead of time, they have informed backstageco-ordinator that they have a missing dancer.

The Registration Program Will Automatically Create These Groupings:
Pre-primary 6 years and under
Primary 9 years and under
Junior 12 years and under
Intermediate 15 years and under
Senior 18 years and under
Adult 19 years and over
Some age categories may be divided further, based on registration.
